Nursing Education (RN to MSN), MS

Advance your nursing career with the RN to Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Education track, designed for registered nurses who are ready to expand their impact through teaching, staff development, and professional education. This program builds on the clinical expertise you already bring to practice, supporting your growth in roles such as academic faculty, unit educator, and staff development leader. Through a focused and engaging curriculum, you will develop skills in teaching and learning strategies, curriculum development, evaluation, and evidence-based practice, preparing you to support both nursing students and practicing nurses. As you progress, you will connect your real-world experience with graduate-level knowledge, positioning yourself to educate, mentor, and contribute to the development of nursing students and the ongoing growth of the nursing workforce across academic and clinical settings. 

RN to BSN Bridge Courses - 15 Hours


RN to BSN Bridge courses and Nursing Core courses, other than NUR 6220 and 6230, are required to be completed prior to the specialty track courses. Other than NUR 3050, these courses can be taken in an order.

Nursing Major - 24 Hours


NUR 6220 and NUR 6230 are required to be the final two courses completed in the program. These are offered any term and any semester as needed to meet graduation requirements.
