CHM 1010 - General Chemistry I

This course provides an in-depth introduction to the fundamental principles of chemistry, with an integrated lecture-laboratory format that allows for hands-on application of theoretical concepts. Students will explore core topics such as the states of matter, atomic structure, chemical bonding, molecular structure, and chemical reactions, all while gaining practical laboratory experience. Course is an integrated lecture-laboratory format designed to deepen students’ comprehension through hands-on experimentation and data analysis. Students must have a strong foundation in algebra to be successful in this course.  This course contains an integrated lab component.

45 hours of lecture and 30 hours of lab required.
