Student Handbook Addendum

Baker College publishes a Student Handbook each year, however edits may need to be made after the Student Handbook is published and thus an Addendum needs to be created to list those edits. This section will hopefully guide you in how to use the Addendum in concert with the full, current Student Handbook.

Answer: The Addendum is to be used with the current Student Handbook.

Question: Does the Addendum superseded the Catalog?

Answer: Yes, the information in the Addendum supersedes what is in the Student Handbook.

College of Nursing - Missed/Makeup Test Policy - the policy has been amended as follows:

You should prepare for all exams. If you miss one exam/test/quiz the missed test/exam is replaced with the average of all tests/exams/quizzes. Additional missed tests/quizzes will earn zero points.
Tests/exams and quizzes will be calculated separately.
The Final Exam, Health Assessment Head to Toe, and the Pharmacology Math Test are not to be used when determining the missed test average score.
This policy will allow you to calculate the final exam score needed to pass a course prior to the last day to withdraw from a course. Effective Fall 2024.

Residence Life - Break Accommodations - the policy has been amended as follows:

Break accommodations during the holiday period between fall and spring semesters (dates vary each year, please see the calendar for specific dates), the residence halls are closed, and access is prohibited. Please note that no break accommodations will be approved for those dates. Make sure to plan accordingly and arrange for alternative housing during this time. Effective Fall 2024.
