NUR 3010 - Nursing Concepts II Credits: 7 Lecture: 60 Lab: 30
Through completion of this course, the student will build upon the foundational knowledge gained in Concepts I and focuses on reinforcing and advancing nursing principles and skills. Through a combination of theoretical learning and clinical experiences, students explore topics such as pathophysiology, pharmacology, and nursing interventions across diverse patient populations with a focus on acute patient needs. This course emphasizes critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practice to prepare students for the complexities of modern healthcare delivery. This course is comprised of 60 hours of lecture instruction, 30 hours of lab, and 90 hours of clinical experience.
