NUR 2450 - Nursing Concepts I

Students will gain essential nursing skills, practice health assessment techniques, and promote holistic patient care. Students will develop the fundamental competencies required for safe and effective nursing practice. Through an introduction to nursing theory alongside evidence-based practice, the learner fosters critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills crucial for competent nursing care. Serving as the cornerstone of nursing education, Concepts I lays the groundwork for students to develop a compassionate, competent, and ethical approach to patient care. This course is comprised of 45 hours of lecture, 30 hours of lab instruction, and 45 hours of clinical experience.
