NUR 4810 - Nursing Concepts IV

This course explores the specialized field of critical care nursing, focusing on the management of acutely ill patients in high-intensity care settings. Through a combination of theoretical study and immersive clinical experiences, students learn advanced assessment techniques, complex nursing interventions, and interprofessional collaboration skills crucial for delivering high-quality critical care. This course emphasizes the application of evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making to effectively respond to dynamic and life-threatening situations in critical care environments. This course is comprised of 45 hours of lecture instruction and 135 hours of clinical experience.
