Accounting 4+1 BBA/MBA

Our 4+1 BBA/MBA program in accounting is designed and taught by professional accountants who know the industry inside and out. Through online classroom learning, practice in online labs, and hands-on applications, you’ll gain a well-rounded understanding of the accounting field and higher-level accounting concepts, practices and theories that will prepare you for great careers such as accountant, financial manager, business development manager, CPA, chief financial officer or tax consultant.

  • You’ll also develop the leadership, communication and problem-solving skills you need to stand out in today’s workforce.
  • This 4+1 program provides an exciting pathway for you to gain a BBA online accounting degree and an MBA degree in five years.
  • After completing this program, you’ll be eligible to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination exam in Michigan.
  • The Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Business Administration program at Baker College is accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).

MBA - Accounting Major - 12 Hours


This Academic Plan assumes that you will take MBA Accounting Major when you complete your BBA degree at the end of Year 4 and officially enter the MBA degree in Year 5. You will have the option of choosing another major upon admission into the MBA Program. If you change your MBA major, your Year 5 academic plan will change accordingly.

BBA Hours for Graduation - 120; MBA Hours for Graduation - 39 Hours; Total Hours for Graduation - 144 (Note: 15 credits are counted toward both the BBA degree and the MBA degree in this 4+1 program.)
