Courses offered through the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences stimulate curiosity, promote intellectual inquiry, and encourage lifelong learning through an integrated approach to learning. Through the study of real-world issues and problems, students will develop competencies in Written Communication, Oral Communication, Scientific Practice, Quantitative Literacy, Digital Information Literacy, Intercultural Competence - Inclusion/Equity, Teamwork/Professional & Ethical Behavior, Civic Knowledge/Global Cultural Perspectives/Community Responsibility, Critical and Creative Thinking, Inquiry/Analysis, Synthesis, Transfer of Learning, and Reflection. These courses provide foundational knowledge and competencies essential for success in any career path or field.
