EDU 1010 - The Whole Child

Focuses on aspects of teaching the whole child. Topics include strategies to teach the whole child in the classroom, the teacher as a professional, whole child development, communication with stakeholders, building relationships with families and students, social emotional learning, physical activity and nutrition, and the community influences on children as well as how communities support children. A grade of C or better must be attained to complete the Elementary Education Program.
