If you are driven to help others and want to play a part in making the legal system equitable for everyone, our Criminal Justice program is built for you. This field is about balancing safety with rehabilitation, helping people get back on their feet, and ensuring victims get the support they deserve. Whether you want to protect your community, investigate cybercrimes, or work toward systemic change, this degree gives you a solid, multi-dimensional foundation to get started. You will explore a huge range of career paths, including law enforcement, corrections, homeland security, and the court system.

You do not need a background check to get started in our Criminal Justice program. However, keep in mind that most employers and internship sites in this field will run a thorough background investigation before you can start working. If you have a criminal history, it could limit your options for field placements or make it harder to get hired in certain roles later on. We want you to be successful, so we highly recommend speaking with a program advisor early on. They can help you map out the best academic and career path to reach your goals.
