The Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling focuses on the theories and techniques needed to help diverse groups navigate the complex challenges of daily life. This program offers a broad, comprehensive look at the field, giving exposure to specialized areas like community, addiction, career, and trauma counseling. Beyond the classroom, students dive into a hands-on practicum and internship, applying their skills in both a supervised lab and through community placements. Working directly under the guidance of a licensed counselor, students gain the real-world experience and professional confidence required to provide high-quality support and consultation to those who need it most.
