Healthcare Administration, BS

The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration (BHCA) program prepares students to plan, direct, and coordinate medical and health services across a range of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and public health organizations. Students develop knowledge and skills in operations, finance, healthcare management, and health policy, with the option to pursue specialized or broad-based administrative roles. The program emphasizes leadership, professional communication, ethical decision-making, regulation and compliance, and process improvement to support efficient operations and quality patient care. Graduates are prepared to contribute to healthcare organizations by using informed approaches and aligning business practices with the delivery of effective health services.

General Education - 27 Hours


Elective Credit Block - 42 Hours


It is recommended that students take the LCA electives to earn a minor in Long-Term Care Administration - 15 Credits . Students can substitute other minors or take general electives if not wanting to pursue a Long Term Care Minor.
