As an early childhood educator, you have the incredible chance to shape how children first see and experience the world. Since those first few years are the most critical, you will be the one helping them explore, learn, and build a foundation that lasts a lifetime. The Early Childhood Education Associate of Applied Science degree program at Baker College is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Early Childhood Higher Education Programs of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The current accreditation term runs from March 2021 through March 2028. This degree program does not lead to eligibility for teacher certification.

Early Childhood Education Major - 30 Hours
General Education - 15 Hours
Program Elective Courses - 6 Hours
Select 6 credits from the following: Electives - 9 hours
Select 9 credits from any Baker College undergraduate-level courses. Semester Hours Required for Graduation - 60
