All But Dissertation Option, DBA - Capstone Project Track

Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Undergraduate and Graduate Programs

Many doctoral students face challenges in completing their programs. Baker College recognizes these critical challenges and has implemented a supportive framework that guides students in earning their DBA degrees. Instead of writing a dissertation, students will be guided to solve real-world business challenges through a comprehensive capstone project that emphasizes practical research and actionable solutions. In addition, students will have the opportunity to choose a concentration by taking 9 credits of MBA courses that apply to the DBA degree. The All But Dissertation (ABD) - Capstone Project Track option is specifically designed for students who have work in-progress from a previous doctoral program (27 semester credits, including courses in statistics and research methodologies) at a regionally accredited institution within the last seven years. Typically, students can complete their doctorate in 1.5 years by earning 25 semester credits.

Approved Graduate Credit Hours - 27 Hours
