Healthcare administrators plan, direct and coordinate medical and health services in hospitals, private and public clinics, agencies, and other healthcare organizations. Some administrators specialize in one area, such as finance or marketing, but others have broader responsibilities ranging from managing people and services to developing procedures improving the quality of health services.

Healthcare Administration Major - 51 Hours
General Education Requirements - 27 Hours
Elective Credit Block - 42 Hours
It is recommended that students take the LCA and PUH electives outlined on the academic plan to recieve two minors: Long-Term Care Administration - 15 Credits and Public Health - 15 Credits . Students can substitute other minors or take general electives if not wanting to pursue a Long Term Care or Public Health Minor. Semester Hours Required for Graduation - 120
