The Associate of Applied Science in Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary program that blends mechanical and electrical technology with computer technology to prepare students for hands-on careers in automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing. This program provides practical training in troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving sophisticated mechatronic systems, with a focus on programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, and industrial automation. Graduates are equipped to enter the workforce as mechatronics technicians, automation specialists, or robotics technicians, with the skills to operate, program, and repair modern automated systems. With a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and real-world applications, this degree prepares students for immediate employment in high-demand industries or further education in a related field.

A minimum grade of B- (2.7) is required for the following courses: CAD Computer Aided Design, EE Electrical Engineering, EGR Engineering, ISE Industrial and Systems Engineering, MATT Mechatronics, ME Mechanical Engineering.
