Modern manufacturing requires machines capable of producing increasingly complex components and assemblies with speed, precision, and at a low cost. Automation engineers combine traditional engineering design methods with expertise in industrial robotics, programmable automation controllers, and data visualization and analysis to design, implement, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment that can meet the growing demands of Industry 4.0.

A minimum grade of B- (2.7) is required for the following courses: CAD Computer Aided Design, EE Electrical Engineering, EGR Engineering, ISE Industrial and Systems Engineering, MATT Mechatronics, ME Mechanical Engineering

Automation Engineering Technology Major - 90 Hours
