NUR 6270 - Evaluation Strategies for Nursing Education

In this course, students will design and analyze evaluation plans across various learning environments, including classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings. Students will examine the relationship between assessment practices and student self-efficacy, develop strategies to facilitate NCLEX success, and analyze different testing formats. Emphasis is placed on applying Bloom’s Taxonomy, integrating effective scoring rubrics, and using technology for assessment development and security. Students will gain skills in creating reliable assessments, providing meaningful feedback, and utilizing technology to enhance educational outcomes. Student will complete 45 practice hours (1 credit). 3 Semester hours.
