RAD 2350 - CT Imaging and Review B Credits: 4 Lecture: 24 Lab: 0
This advanced course provides a comprehensive review of key concepts and clinical practices in Computed Tomography (CT) to prepare students for the ARRT CT certification exam. Emphasis is placed on detailed imaging protocols for the head, neck, body, spine, and extremities, as well as advanced vascular imaging techniques. Radiation safety, contrast media administration, radiation physics, data acquisition, and instrumentation are explored at a higher level. Students will also participate in a focused ARRT boards review to reinforce essential knowledge and competencies. Upon completion, students are expected to fulfill the 125 required CT competencies, qualifying them to apply for the national ARRT CT certification exam. This course includes 24 hours of lecture and 216 hours of clinical.
