BIO 4110 - Herpetology

This advanced course provides a comprehensive study of reptiles and amphibians, focusing on their biology, ecology, behavior, and conservation. Students will explore the evolutionary relationships among these groups, their physiological adaptations, and their roles within ecosystems, fostering a deep understanding of their significance in biodiversity. Laboratory work will also include an emphasis on identifying herpetofauna of the Great Lakes region. 45 hours of lecture and 30 hours of lab required.
