CHM 3010 - Organic Chemistry I

This course focuses on the structure, nomenclature, preparation, and reactivity of aliphatic and aromatic compounds. Students will study reaction mechanisms, stereochemistry, conformational analysis, and bonding theories to understand the behavior and transformations of organic molecules. 45 hours of lecture and 30 hours of lab required.
