BIO 4210 - Mammalogy Credits: 4 Lecture: 45 Lab: 30
This advanced course provides a comprehensive study of mammals, focusing on their biology, ecology, behavior, and conservation. Students will explore the evolutionary relationships among these groups, their physiological adaptations, and their roles within ecosystems, fostering a deep understanding of their significance in biodiversity. Laboratory work will also include an emphasis on identifying mammals of the Great Lakes region. 45 hours of lecture and 30 hours of lab required.
