BIO 2050 - Principles of Ecology

This course provides a comprehensive overview of ecological principles and the intricate relationships between organisms and their environments. Students will explore the fundamental concepts of ecology, including population dynamics, community interactions, ecosystem structure and function, and the impact of human activities on natural systems. Through a combination of lectures, field studies, and laboratory work, students will engage in hands-on learning experiences that focus on the application of ecological theories to real-world scenarios, and learn to analyze and address environmental challenges. 45 hours of lecture and 30 hours of lab required.
