BIO 4610 - Ichthyology Credits: 4 Lecture: 45 Lab: 30
This advanced course provides a comprehensive study of fish, focusing on their biology, ecology, behavior, and conservation. Students will explore the evolutionary relationships among these groups, their physiological adaptations, and their roles within ecosystems, fostering a deep understanding of their significance in biodiversity. Laboratory work will also include an emphasis on identifying fish of the Great Lakes region. 45 hours of lecture and 30 hours of lab required.
