This course provides an in-depth study of distributed and parallel computing systems, focusing on their design, development, and application in solving complex computational problems. Students will explore key concepts such as parallelism, distributed architectures, communication protocols, synchronization, and fault tolerance. Emphasis is placed on understanding the challenges and trade-offs inherent in building scalable and efficient distributed and parallel systems.
