This course will provide a foundation of laws and regulations encountered daily by healthcare compliance professionals. It will allow students to identify specific regulatory issues in the healthcare environment and understand penalties associated with non-compliance and violations. Students will learn to conduct basic legal research, where to find resources and best practices. Must complete with a B- or better.
