OTA 2410 - Elements of Therapeutic Media

Introduces OTA students to therapeutic activity and various forms of media utilized in occupational therapy treatment settings. Students develop and apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and adapt purposeful activities in the areas of self-care, work, and leisure. Extensive activity analysis and application to various patient care areas are emphasized. Students will become familiar with group interaction and group processes. 30 hours of lecture and 30 hours of lab are required. Must complete with a B- or better.
