SWK 4110 - Social Work Seminar I Credits: 3 Lecture: 45 Lab: 0
Students present and analyze internship experiences to develop capacity for self-awareness; development and appropriate application of social work knowledge, values, skills. Review of helping process, generalist practice, theoretical foundations. Prepares students to work with diverse and at-risk clients. Lays foundation for continuing professional development. Weekly seminar accompanies first-semester internship.
