EDU 4010 - Instructional Strategies

Explores theory of instruction, methods, and instructional strategies focusing on integrated lesson planning and teaching strategies for all elementary content areas including literacy, mathematics, social studies, science, music, art, health and physical education. Emphasizes the application of effective instructional theory and practice, sound decision making, and multicultural education in a field-based context. This course requires 30 hours of fieldwork in a P-6 classroom setting. A grade of C or better must be attained to complete the Elementary Education Program.
