ITS 3210 - Legal and Ethical Issues in Information Technology

Explores legal and ethical issues faced in the information technology field. Students will learn about ethical issues within an organization as they relate to internal and external relationships with customers, partners and society. In addition, students will examine current legal issues in information technology, such as intellectual property, privacy rules and legislative actions. Exploration of the impact of these issues on existing and proposed technical strategies will help prepare students to provide influence about legal and ethical issues they will face in today’s organizations.
